How to send AI receptionist leads into Jobber or Housecall Pro
Your AI receptionist books the estimate; Jobber or Housecall Pro runs the job. Here's how to connect the two with Zapier so nobody types a lead twice, and what each side can and can't pass along today.
What connects today, and what doesn't
No direct sync yet. AI Front Desk Helper can't book into Jobber's or Housecall Pro's schedule on its own. Alex books onto your Google Calendar, and Zapier carries the lead and the booking across. If you've been promised a "native Jobber integration" by an AI receptionist, ask exactly what it writes and where.
Our Zapier app has four triggers (New Lead, New Booking, Call Completed, Job Outcome) and four actions (Create Lead, Book Estimate, Mark Job Won, Start Estimate Follow-up). The app is invite-only for now; ask us for the link and we'll send it. You can also point any tool at our webhooks, including Make and n8n.
Jobber: the Zaps worth building
Jobber's Zapier app is available on its Connect, Grow and Plus plans. It can create clients and requests, and it can tell other tools when a quote is sent or a job is closed. That's enough for a full loop:

Housecall Pro: the Zaps worth building
Housecall Pro's Zapier connection, on its Essentials, Essentials + and Max plans, has two triggers (Job Scheduled, Job Finished) and one action (Create New Customer). That's a shorter loop, but it covers the two moves that matter:

Housecall Pro has no "quote sent" trigger in Zapier, so start estimate follow-up another way. The day after an estimate appointment, AI Front Desk Helper texts you to ask whether the job sold. Reply Q and the amount (for example "Q 4500") and follow-up starts on that quote.
A few things to get right
- Use a paid Zapier plan. The Jobber loop uses multi-step Zaps.
- Match on phone number. Both tools key customers by phone, so use Jobber's Find or Create Client to avoid duplicates.
- Run one Zap per event. If an old Zap already sends leads somewhere, turn it off before building the new one, or you'll get two of everything.
- Test with your own number before you turn the Zaps on for real customers.
Why not just use Jobber's or Housecall Pro's own receptionist?

Does AI Front Desk Helper integrate directly with Jobber?
Not yet. It connects through Zapier: new leads can become Jobber clients and requests, a closed Jobber job can mark the lead won, and a sent Jobber quote can start estimate follow-up.
Does it integrate with Housecall Pro?
Through Zapier. New leads can become Housecall Pro customers, and a finished Housecall Pro job can mark the lead won. Housecall Pro's Zapier app doesn't offer more than that today.
Can the AI book straight into Jobber's schedule?
No. Alex books onto your Google Calendar, and a Zap can create a Jobber request with the appointment details. You schedule the assessment in Jobber.
Which Jobber plans work with Zapier?
Jobber lists Zapier on its Connect, Grow and Plus plans.
Do I need to pay for Zapier?
