Networx leads: an AI front desk that texts every one back in seconds
A Networx pay-per-lead goes to more than one contractor, and the homeowner is waiting by the phone. Here's how to reach every lead first, and what to ask Networx before you count on it.
Why speed decides Networx jobs
Networx sells leads two ways. On its pay-per-lead plan, "a single Pay Per Lead will go to up to 4 contractors in total", at "between $10 to $100+ dollars" a lead. Its exclusive leads are sent to one contractor only. Either way, Networx's own advice is to "call them quickly (they will be waiting to hear from you!)". Networx delivers each lead to you by text and email in real time, which is fine when you're free and useless when you're mid-job.
What happens when a Networx lead comes in
Once Networx sends your leads to your AI Front Desk Helper address, Alex texts each homeowner within seconds, from your business number:
What happens after the first text
When the customer replies, Alex, the AI receptionist, carries the conversation from your business number. It answers from what you've set up: your services, your service area, your hours. With the estimator turned on, for junk removal, window cleaning, pressure washing, house cleaning, pest control, garage doors, pool service, flooring, concrete, window installation, stump grinding and lawn care, it gives a ballpark from your own price sheet and says the crew confirms the price on site. For every other trade it books the estimate instead of quoting a job price.
On Pro and above, Alex offers real open times from your Google Calendar and books the estimate right in the text thread. If the customer calls your number instead, Alex answers the call. You get a notification for every new Networx lead, and new leads are saved with Networx as their source, so you can see which platform turns into booked work.
Two things it deliberately doesn't do. It doesn't call the lead: the homeowner asked by message, not for a phone call, so Alex texts first. And it never drops a lead. If a lead arrives without a usable phone number, or the text can't be sent, the lead is emailed to you and shows up in your dashboard so a person can take it from there.
Setting it up
- In your AI Front Desk Helper dashboard, open Settings, find the Networx tile and copy your personal connection address.
- Ask your Networx account rep whether they can deliver your leads to a web address (a webhook) as JSON. Networx doesn't publish this, so it's their call.
- If they can, give them your address. Once they confirm it's on, Alex texts each new lead.
- If Networx can only text and email you, this connection won't work for your account, and we'd rather tell you now.
What it can't do
- It depends on Networx sending the lead. Without delivery to a web address, there's nothing for Alex to text.
- It doesn't change Networx's credit rules. Networx gives credits for leads with a disconnected number or fake contact details. A text that bounces is a good sign to check whether that lead qualifies.
- It doesn't lower your lead cost. You still pay Networx for each lead. What changes is how many of them you actually get to talk to.
A straight answer about where this stands: the connection is built and we tested it ourselves on September 30, 2026, sending a test lead to my own company's account and getting the text within seconds. No customer has connected a live account yet, so we have no results to publish, and we won't make them up.
